" <br /><br />Yodeling was developed in Switzerland in the second century BC. <br /><br />Shepherds used such guttural sounds in the mountains to keep in touch. <br /><br />[Sammy Sumbrun, Soloist, Countertenor]: <br />"When I go out on the scene I imagine that I am singing in the Swiss Alps. There are mountains, fresh air, sunshine, beautiful nature around me, and I feel it in my heart, in my soul." <br /><br />At the end there is a performance with a flag. <br /><br />There is not only Tyrolean singing in it, but also the sounds of the Alpine horn. <br /><br />Experts say that yodel-singing came from these sounds. <br /><br />The artist says that no one in Switzerland can now play this instrument. <br /><br />The chorus "Lundi 7 Heures" performs contemporary vocals. <br /><br />And none of these 16 participants carry national clothing with them like Sammy does.
