Frosting is one of life's little pleasures and it is often more delicious than the cake itself. I have eaten numerous cake toppings without eating much of the cake. Traditionally the most popular frosting is cream. This simple icing is usually made from only butter, icing sugar, vanilla essence and milk. This recipe has evolved over the years and cream cheese is being used as the main ingredient instead of cream in many cases.
