A dog I saw in the local park (Worthington Park Sale) yesterday was busy licking a brick!<br />Fascinated I switched off the "audible book" on my iPod in order to film it<br />(with the owner's permission of course).<br />This dog, called Benji, has always loved rocks, pebbles, bricks and stones<br />he even dived once into suspect waters to retrieve them <br />(which was the cause of the infection that lost him an eye).<br />The background sound is of the licking dog himself and the local children who were fascinated<br />by his antics just as much as I was. <br />I added a little laid-back ragtime - composed today especially for the scene - which I've called "Bricklick Benji" <br />for piano and melody instrument - in this case jazz guitar.<br />The bass line is - of course - an ostinato - to reflect Benji's obstinate interest in stones etc.<br />The score and parts can be obtained from<br />http://www.myscorestore.com/product/view/id/4592/bricklick-benji-rag.html
