A small crowd of Shelton residents gathers to protest biomass proposals that would convert the <br />Pacific Northwest's forests to bio-fuel for jets. Senator Maria Cantwell and Washington State DNR director, Peter Goldmark, are some big name proponents of this plan despite all the evidence it would be yet another giant boondoggle...further destroying our tax base (taxpayers) at the expense of our forests, children, and environment. One local businesswoman urges the Senator to do her homework before orchestrating such assaults on our future and quality of life.
