In a call for an end to solitary confinement in New York's prisons and expressing solidarity with California's Pelican Bay prisoners .This was part of a nationwide day of protests scheduled to coincide with legislative hearing on conditions and policies of the Security Housing Units (Solitary Confinement) at Pelican Bay.<br />Present were the NYS Prisoner Justice Network, Rights for Imprisoned People with Psychiatric Disabilities, VOCAL and many more who held rally outside Governor Cuomo's Office in New York City
