This Friday, 2nd September, public voting opens for the final 22 projects -- including The Green Valley Centre, Bryncynon -- competing for Best Environment Project <br /><br />Residents of the Cynon Valley in Wales are turning green-fingered, thanks to a National Lottery-funded project that has transformed a derelict wilderness into a four-and-a-half-acre landscaped community green space. <br /><br />National Lottery funding has been to used landscape the area, employ staff to manage the projects and provide environmental apprenticeships to local unemployed youngsters.
