Hundreds of Egyptian protesters outside the Israeli embassy in Cairo were dispersed by police.<br/> Riot police fired tear gas and blank rounds in the early hours of Saturday but some of the crowd appeared to regroup later to hurl missiles at officers.<br/> At least four vehicles and a nearby public building have been set alight and a wall built to protect the Israeli embassy was pulled down.<br/> The trouble kicked off on Friday night when the protestors stormed the building which houses the embassy.<br/> They tore down the Israeli flag and threw documents from the windows.<br/> Egypt's Interior Ministry says at least 450 protestors have been injured during a day of confrontations with police.<br/> State media says a government cabinet crisis team's been summoned and police leave cancelled.<br/> The Israeli ambassador and his family were reported to have arrived at Cairo airport early on Saturday apparently ready to leave the country.<br/> Israel's asked the United States to help guard the besieged embassy building.<br/> Paul Chapman, Reuters
