My introduction to animation, this is a film on the poem 'Annabel Lee', by Edgar Allen Poe. Using oil paints on glass over a light box, the piece attempts to describe the characters of the poem, concentrating on the idea of repetition, looping and being trapped in a place you've forgotten.
