Bennett clarifies 9/11 remarks, "Avatar" world to come to Disney

Tony Bennett has issued a clarification of his comments about 9/11. In an interview, the 85-year-old singer told Howard Stern that the U.S. was partly responsible for the attacks of September 11. Bennett issued a statement saying he was sorry for suggesting anything other than an expression of his love for his country, his hope for humanity and desire for peace throughout the world.<br/> James Cameron and the Walt Disney Company have teamed up to bring a real-life "Avatar" world to everyone. Disney will create an "Avatar" land at its theme park in Orlando, Florida - to the cost of 400 million dollars. Construction is estimated to take five years - and will eventually be added to Disney's other parks around the world.<br/> Richard Gere will be honored by the International Rome Film Festival. He will receive the Marcus Aurelius career award at the fest, which runs from October 27 to November 4.<br/> Elizabeth Taylor's collection of designer clothes will be sold at auction in New York.
