US starlett Scarlett Johansson added some Hollywood spice to Milan Fashion Week.<br/> Designers Dolce and Gabbana created fireworks of lights to celebrate Mediterranean beauty for their 2012 women winter collection in Italy's fashion capital.<br/> Tomatoes, aubergines, courgettes and hot pepper prints spiced up the classic cut of high-waist dresses and deconstructed jackets, short at the waist for a collection inspired by 50s looks.<br/> The show brought guests into a Mediterranean village with illuminations that adorned streets for patron saints' festivities.<br/> Clothes were made of organza or cotton, and came in pastel colours such as light blue, peach and tones of beige.<br/> Skirts were below or just above the knee for a romantic silhouette.<br/> Plastic details added a contemporary touch to the glittering collection.<br/> Shoulder bags, earrings, necklaces and bracelets carried pasta, little vegetables and small Madonnas.<br/> The "Mambo Italiano" song by movie legend Sofia Loren resounded during the glittering show.<br/> For the evening, the illuminations were turned into luminous stones and multi-coloured crystal embroideries on lace dresses and bodysuits that shone like fireworks.<br/> Kathi Urban, Reuters.
