Two civilians are dead and 26 injured after a suicide car bomb explodes in front of a local police chief's office in southern Afghanistan's Helmand province.<br/> The Taliban took credit for the attack in Laskar Gah, one of the first six areas chosen to pioneer the security handover from foreign troops to local forces.<br/> One of those killed was a child and 10 police were among the wounded, according to a spokesman for the governor of Helmand province.<br/> The car bomb exploded near a bakery on a busy street that supplied bread to police.
