The Philippines' second typhoon in a week has made a bad situation even worse.<br/> This is Calumpit town in Bulacan province, one of two rice-producing regions submerged in chest-deep water since Friday.<br/> Typhoon Nalgae dumped up to 25 millimetres of rain an hour in some places.<br/> SOUNDBITE: Boy Delirio, resident, saying (Filipino):<br/> "My house is underwater, you can only see the roof."<br/> SOUNDBITE: Marites Pilapil, resident, saying (Filipino):<br/> "Me and my companions here can't work or do anything to make a living. If there's anyone willing to help, we need food."<br/> At least one person was killed when the second typhoon hit.<br/> The first big storm on Tuesday has claimed at least 52 lives.
