The latest casualties in the battle for control of Muammar Gaddafi's birthplace arrive at hospital.<br/> Libya's interim government says it's calling a two-day truce for civilians to escape fighting in and around Sirte.<br/> The truce order was issued on Friday but on Saturday both sides continued to exchange fire.<br/> Aid workers from the International Committee of the Red Cross have been taking medical supplies into the city despite the fighting.<br/> There are fears that a humanitarian disaster was unfolding inside.<br/> SOUNDBITE: Karen Strugg, Red Cross worker, saying (English):<br/> "We do have a team that has left this morning towards Sirte and is ahead and (IN ARABIC), God willing, we will manage to distribute our items until today."<br/> Anti-Gaddafi fighters have arrested at least seven of the deposed leader's supporters near Sirte.<br/> The men surrendered after interim government fighters took the village of Abu Hadi south of the city where Gaddafi was born.<br/> In a further twist Gaddafi's spokesman has contacted a Syria-based television channel to deny reports he himself had been captured.<br/> Moussa Ibrahim said he was regularly moving in and out of Sirte and rejected the reports that he'd been captured disguised as a woman.<br/> Paul Chapman, Reuters
