For more news and videos visit ☛ http://english.ntdtv.com<br />Follow us on Twitter ☛ http://twitter.com/NTDTelevision<br />Add us on Facebook ☛ http://me.lt/9P8MUn <br /><br />A bus crash in a mountainous area of central China on Saturday has left 16 people dead. 19 people survived the crash, many with serious injuries.<br /><br />At least 16 people are dead and 19 injured after a bus plunged into a ravine in Hubei Province on Saturday.<br /><br />State-run media reports the bus was carrying 35 passengers when it crashed through railings on the road and plunged into the Xiangxi River.<br /><br />Television pictures showed rescuers helping survivors climb back up to the road holding onto a rope.<br /><br />Many of the survivors were severely injured and were sent to the hospital for further medical treatment.<br /><br />One passenger spoke about the ordeal.<br /><br />[Long Yonglei, Passenger]:<br />"I was asleep when the bus fell into the ravine, then I found myself at the edge of the river. A lot of people came to rescue us. Many of them were local residents."<br /><br />CCTV reports that local authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the deadly accident.
