Actress Michelle Williams brings Marilyn Monroe to life in the new film "My Week with Marilyn".<br/> The Hollywood actress hit the red carpet with co-star Eddie Redmayne at the movie's New York Film Festival screening.<br/> Based on a true story, the movie is adapted from author Colin Clark's diaries, "The Prince, The Showgirl and Me" and "My Week with Marilyn".<br/> In 1956, Clark, played by English actor Eddie Redmayne, was a 23-year-old from Oxford, England working his way up in the movie industry.<br/> After snagging a job on Marilyn's film, "The Prince and the Showgirl," Clark spent one week with Marilyn - introducing her to the pleasures of British life while allowing her to get away from the pressures of Hollywood.<br/> The film also stars English actor Dominic Cooper, Harry Potter star Emma Watson and Oscar winner Dame Judi Dench.<br/> "My Week with Marilyn" will be released in the U.S. on November 4th, and on November 18th in the UK.<br/> Alicia Powell, Reuters.
