The Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Contemporary Studies is completing twenty years of its existence this year. RGICS has worked in a wide range of areas in these twenty years. As it enters its third decade, RGICS has embarked on a renewal program with a new vision and strategy. I hope and expect that the renewed RGICS will enrich our thinking and make important contributions to public policy.<br />Let me turn to the topic of the evening, “Globalization, Justice and Rights”.<br />Globalization is not new.<br />Ideas, objects and people have moved across the world since time immemorial.
