Not long after, a ceasefire is signed between a dissident general and government forces.<br /><br />The Yemeni government and a dissident general signed a ceasefire on Tuesday, amid continued violent unrest in the capital Sanaa.<br /><br />Just hours before the agreement, witnesses said five civilians including a child were killed in crossfire between state troops and opposition fighters in the city of Taiz.<br /><br />In Sanaa security forces opened fire on a protest march in the capital Sanaa, killing two people, witnesses said.<br /><br />Forces sprayed demonstrators with water cannons and intermittent gunfire rang out as thousands of protesters marched through the streets.<br /><br />Demonstrators waved the Yemeni flag and carried posters of Ernesto Che Guevara, before the rally turned violent.<br /><br />Injured protesters winced with physical injuries as they waited for treatment in a local field hospital.<br /><br />[Unidentified Protester]:<br />"We were walking in the street of al Zeraah. They (security) told us walk in peace, and when we arrived, to the area (al Ga'a), they besieged us from behind, and a military vehicle sprayed us from the front, and then we were fired upon by bullets.
