Residents queue for drinking water as widespread flooding raises concerns about the safety of drinking water in Thailand.<br/> The worst floods in half a century have killed 370 people and affected over 2 million.<br/> Now water from Bangkok's treatment plant is flowing through industrial areas, officials are trying to reassure people its safe to drink.<br/> (SOUNDBITE) (Thai) DIRECTOR OF WATER QUALITY DEPARTMENT OF METROPOLITAN WATERWORKS AUTHORITY, JONGKOLNEE ARSUWATE, SAYING:<br/> "Before flooding in the north, our water quality department told those industrial estates to remove chemical substances and lift them 10 metres above the ground. I assure you that the water we produce is not contaminated by heavy chemicals."<br/> But not all residents are convinced.<br/> (SOUNDBITE) (Thai) BANGKOK RESIDENT PETCHARA SRIPETCH SAYING:<br/> "I'm not so sure… Usually I drink water from the filter but this time I have to boil it after fetching the water from the filter.
