A family picks through what's left of their home.<br/> The house was destroyed on Friday when a 6.9 magnitude shook southern Peru and its capital, Lima.<br/> A man who lives in the house says he barely escaped the falling debris.<br/> (SOUNDBITE) (Spanish) ROGELIO VIDAL, EARTHQUAKE VICTIM<br/> "All of a sudden, the earthquake struck and we were just able to get out of here. The house caved in completely. I have three relatives who are in the hospital."<br/> Officials say there were no deaths as a result of the quake, though several people were injured.<br/> The tremor brought back memories of 2007, when another earthquake in the region killed more than 500.<br/> The Friday quake was centered under the sea 31 miles (50 km) southwest of the city of Ica.<br/> Andrew Raven, Reuters
