Everything Was Beautiful and Nothing Hurt - MINA MAY - New album<br />Released on 15th november<br /><br />From their various trips to Elsewhere, the members of Mina May have evidently retained a taste for travelling. <br />After a year spent in Canada (a gig with SUUNS, among many others) and a noticeable European comeback at Midi festival in 2010, these unconventional backpackers still claim the same influences which, from Nina Simone to Can via Brian Eno or Pink Floyd, may well fit in any demanding music lover’s record collection.<br />Following their first homonymous album and an ambitious EP (SKYLARKING), EVERYTHING WAS BEAUTIFUL AND NOTHING HURT (Pacinist/Almost Musique) is an invitation to unknown territories, on a map where Europe, Africa and America mix together in a blur, where polyrhythms get layered with shamanic melodies, inherited from Neil Young or the Stooges.
