4th part of 5 of "The Village of Shadows", the first feature film of the French director Fouad Benhammou.<br />This is a prime example of the 'fantastique' genre. A dark atmospheric thriller, devoid of blood or guts, that instead plays entirely on the mood of the slow unveiling of a sombre malediction tale.<br />If you loved "The Haunting" and/or "The Others", you'll enjoy this.<br /><br />In French with English subtitles.
