Libyan munitions disposal experts detonate a large unexploded bomb in Tripoli.<br/> The bomb had been dropped by NATO forces on one of Muammar Gaddafi's compounds before the former leader left the city.<br/> (SOUNDBITE) (English) GENERAL MANAGER OF THE LIBYAN MINE ACTION CENTRE, ABDELMUNIM ALEYWAN:<br/> "We found this bomb, which weighs about 450 pounds, and it was really a direct threat to the people and to the city itself."<br/> NATO ended its Libyan mission on October 31st, seven months after launching air and sea operations that helped bring about the overthrow and death of Gaddafi.<br/> About 5,900 military targets were destroyed in strike missions, including more than 1,000 tanks, other vehicles and guns, and Gaddafi's command and control networks.<br/> Nick Rowlands, Reuters.
