ROUGH CUT - NO REPORTER NARRATION<br/> STORY: Chilean police used tear gas and a water cannon to break up another day of protests in Santiago on Friday (November 18) as thousands of students and teachers took the streets.<br/> Police drove a water cannon truck into the heart of the march, sending hundreds of students running. Armed with rocks and Molotov cocktails, hooded students fought back against the armored vehicle.<br/> The protesters also tore down fencing and used it as a barricade.<br/> Friday's massive march and consequent clashes have become commonplace in Santiago, where students have been protesting to demand a major overhaul of the education system.<br/> They say the system is profit-motivated and provides poor education, accusing unpopular President Sebastian Pinera of misspending the fortune of a copper price boom.<br/> Talks between students and education officials have repeatedly failed. Students recently rejected Pinera's latest budget proposal and show no sign of letting up on demonstrations.
