TV AND WEB RESTRICTIONS~*NONE**~<br/> Skirmishes between Egyptian protesters and police continue into the morning with volleys of teargas.<br/> Hundreds were injured Saturday when police tried to break up a small sit-in in Tahrir Square.<br/> The demonstrators have fought to stay in the square since Friday's protest, demanding an end to military trials and a more rapid transition to a civilian government.<br/> Islamists were also out in force Friday protesting what many believe is the government's attempt to curb their influence on a new constitution.<br/> The violent clashes in several cities have killed at least two people and could jeopardize parliamentary elections scheduled to begin on November 28.<br/> (SOUNDBITE) PROTESTER, LOTFY AL-ZABALAWI, SAYING (Arabic):<br/> "We will not leave this place until we achieve our demand - the demand of Egyptians and the demand of the revolutionaries - which is the transfer of power to a civilian presidential council."<br/> In the Mediterranean city of Alexandria, protesters gathered outside a security building, chanting against the Interior Ministry.<br/> Those in Suez threw rocks at a local police station.<br/> During the uprising against former President Hosni Mubarak early this year, police and state security buildings became frequent targets as hated symbols of a corrupt regime.<br/> Lindsey Parietti, Reuters
