Rough cut (No reporter narration).<br/> The discovery of a World War Two bomb in the German town of Koblenz forced the evacuation of almost half of its population.<br/> On Saturday (December 3) hospitals moved their patients to nearby facilities, prison inmates were also included in the large evacuation operation.<br/> Around 45,000 residents were to be cleared in what will be the largest evacuation since the war WW II.<br/> The 1, 800 kilogram bomb lay in the River Rhine. Falling water levels made its discovery possible.<br/> The people living within a 1.8 kilometres radius around the bomb had to leave the evacuation zone until 0800gmt on Sunday.<br/> Temporary accommodation was set up in schools.
