The scene of a rocket attack in the Iraqi city of Kirkuk.<br/> At least one person was killed and eight others, including a policeman, were wounded when two Katyusha rockets landed on a Shi'ite mosque on Tuesday.<br/> The attack targeted Shi'ite pilgrims gathered to mark Ashura in the ethnically diverse city.<br/> Ashura is the most important annual rite distinguishing Shi'ite Muslims from Sunnis, and commemorates the slaying of the Prophet Mohammad's grandson Hussein in 680AD.<br/> Sunni militants have frequently attacked Shi'ite pilgrims over the past decade.<br/> On Monday three bombs tore through crowds of pilgrims in the Iraqi city of Hilla, killing dozens of people and wounding more than 60 others.<br/> Travis Brecher, Reuters
