Armed police arrive at Virginia Tech University after a double shooting shocks the campus.<br/> A gunman ambushed and shot dead a four-year veteran of the campus police force during a routine traffic stop.<br/> (SOUNDBITE) (English) VIRGINIA TECH PRESIDENT CHARLES STEGER SAYING:<br/> "Today tragedy again struck Virginia Tech with a wanton act of violence where a police officer was murdered during a routine traffic stop. In light of the turmoil and the trauma and the tragedy suffered by this campus by guns I can only say that words don't describe our feelings."<br/> The shooter fled towards a nearby parking lot, where a body and a gun were later found.<br/> Virginia State Police would not confirm the second body was that of the unidentified gunman.<br/> (SOUNDBITE) (English) SERGEANT BOB CARPENTIERI OF THE VIRGINIA STATE POLICE SAYING:<br/> "No additional victims or shooting reports have been given to the police department.
