The military strongman who ruled Panama in the 80's is returning home a convicted murderer.<br/> Former dictator Manuel Noriega has been extradited from France after more than two decades in French and American prisons.<br/> He was convicted for drug trafficking, money laundering and mulitple murders.<br/> He beheaded a doctor and executed at least nine officers behind a failed coup.<br/> On his return to Panama City, the 77-year-old will be taken to a jungle jail to begin serving another 20 years for killing regime opponents.<br/> After pushing his way to the top of the military, Noriega became the country's de facto leader in 1983.<br/> Noriega, who trained and worked with the CIA, was captured in the 1989 U.S. invasion of Panama.<br/> Lindsey Parietti, Reuters
