A man had a lucky escape on Sunday, after a shark took a bite out of his surfboard in northern New South Wales, 435 miles north of Sydney, Australia.<br/> Stephen King was out for some early morning surfing when a shark lunged at his surfboard.<br/> (SOUNDBITE) (English) SHARK ATTACK VICTIM, STEPHEN KING, SAYING:<br/> "There was just a bang from the side, and I went cart-wheeling through the air, and then there was this thrashing beside me."<br/> But King escaped with only these small puncture wounds on his leg.<br/> (SOUNDBITE) (English) SHARK ATTACK VICTIM, STEPHEN KING, SAYING:<br/> "I'm probably the luckiest guy on two legs at the moment. Yeah, unbelievable."<br/> After his brush with death, King stood and marvelled at his damaged board.<br/> (SOUNDBITE) (English) SHARK ATTACK VICTIM, STEPHEN KING, SAYING:<br/> "I'm blessed, ay.
