A somber day in Belgium as thousands mourn the victims of a deadly shooting.<br/> A trumpeter plays "Danny Boy" exactly a week after the attack left the city of Liege in shock.<br/> Thirty-three-year-old Nordine Amrani killed six people and injured more than 100 when he threw grenades and gunned down Christmas shoppers in the city centre before killing himself.<br/> Standing among the victims' families is the mother of 17-month-old Gabriel.<br/> (SOUNDBITE) (French) DOMINCO, ITALIAN RESIDENT OF LIEGE, SAYING:<br/> "It is terrible to see something like this in Liege, I feel compassion for all the sufferers, especially for little Gabriel, who is now gone while he did not ask for this. We are all sad. I have lived in Belgium for 49 years and this shameful."<br/> (SOUNDBITE) (French) MARIUS, RESIDENT IN NEARBY VILLAGE, SAYING:<br/> "I feel sadness, I feel hate, you simply feel like crying, it is so sad, really sad."<br/> State officials including the prime minister attended the memorial.<br/> Belgium's prince and princess were also on hand to offer condolences and lay flowers at the bus stop where the attack occurred.<br/> Lindsey Parietti, Reuters
