Authorities call for calm amid South Sudan violence

You can not say that you are going to take revenge or destroy a whole community," said Machar.<br/> The UN says dozens were killed in the attacks. It is now urging communities in the region to end ethnic violence and engage in a peace process.<br/> South Sudan split away from Sudan in July under a peace deal that ended decades of civil war.
