Amateur video out of Syria appears to show protesters surrounding a car carrying Arab League Monitors in Homs<br/> The video, which could not be independently verified by Reuters comes as monitors are on the ground in Syria to ensure that President Bashar-al-Assad is ending its violent crackdown on unrest.<br/> Homs has been a hotbed of resistance to the government. Demonstrators were back on the streets Wednesday calling for change.<br/> Footage purportedly out of Deraa shows armed men on a rooftop shooting at a passing motorcade. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says that four security forces were killed in the attack.<br/> More footage, purportedly from Hama, shows demonstrators out in force. Arab League are due to visit the city on Thursday.<br/> Violence erupts. Video shows demonstrators hurling stones. Rights groups say Syrian security forces used live ammunition and tear gas to disperse the crowds.<br/> About 150 miles north of Damascus, Hama has particular resonance for Syrians.
