Iraqi Kurds take to the streets to denounce a Turkish airstrike that left 35 Kurds dead.<br/> Some 500 protesters gather in the northern city of Arbil carrying flags, banners, photos of the dead and pictures of jailed PKK leader Abdullah Ocalan.<br/> Some like this Kurdish artist condemned the Turkish regime but said their message was a peaceful one.<br/> "It is not about war or weapons but the Turkish regime will not respond with this message", he says.<br/> Others were less conciliatory, with this protester stamping on the Turkish flag and photo of prime minister, Tayyip Erdogan.<br/> Turkish warplanes killed 35 civilian smugglers in northern Iraq after mistaking them for Kurdish militants.<br/> Prime Minister Erdogan has promised a full investigation into the incident, which has sparked clashes and threatens to undermine already fragile relations between Turkey and minority Kurds.<br/> Sunita Rappai, Reuters
