Iran fires radar-beating missile during Gulf drill

A missile blasts into the sky from an Iranian warship in this Iranian state TV broadcast.<br/> Test-fired on Sunday during Iran's 10-day naval drill in the Gulf, the medium-range missile is designed to evade radar.<br/> Iran's Deputy Naval Commander tells viewers the coastline is now equipped with missile systems that can "set and hit any target at any time."<br/> The missiles launch amid building tension between the West and Iran over its nuclear program - which Tehran claims is peaceful but the West says is a a cover to build a bomb.<br/> Now the European Union says it is considering a ban on imports of Iranian oil - already in place in the United States.<br/> The U.S. and Israel have not ruled out military action against Iran if diplomacy fails.<br/> Iran has long-range missiles which could reach Israel and U.S. bases in the Middle East.
