PLEASE NOTE THIS EDIT CONTAINS CONVERTED 4:3 MATERIAL<br/> The body of Indian student, Anuj Bidve, who was shot dead in the United Kingdom last month was brought to his hometown of Pune in India.<br/> Local residents joined his family in the funeral procession leading to the crematorium.<br/> Earlier his parents had travelled to the UK to retrieve his body and pray at the spot where their son was shot.<br/> Bidve was shot at point blank range in the early hours on December 26 in Salford.<br/> He had been visiting the area with friends over Christmas.<br/> The postgraduate student later died in hospital.<br/> A 20 year old man, Kiaran Stapleton, who gave his name in court as "Psycho Stapleton" has been charged with his murder.<br/> Marie-Claire Fennessy, Reuters
