A 45-year-old man is recovering in a Hong Kong hospital after having his left arm cut off. The man, who lives in Hong Kong with his wife, returned to his hometown in southern China to spend Dragon Boat Festival with his girlfriend and young daughter. Early in the morning four thugs burst into their room and tied up the couple before cutting of the man's lower arm. The incident is thought to be connected to the man's relationship with the girl, who is also the second wife of his friend.
