20-year-old Ed Sheeran seems to be the one to beat at next month's BRIT awards.<br/> Nominations for one of British music's biggest nights were announced on Thursday (January 12).<br/> Sheeran racked up four nominations including the coveted Best Album.<br/> He's also up for British male, British breakthrough act and single for "The A Team".<br/> SOUNDBITE: Ed Sheeran, saying (English):<br/> "I'm ecstatic yeah, over the moon and just a bit surprised if I'm honest."<br/> The singer's latest music video for the single "Lego House" sees Harry Potter's Rupert Grint stalking Sheeran.<br/> The singer said he was teased at school for his likeness to the actor.<br/> SOUNDBITE: Ed Sheeran, On Being Compared To Actor Rupert Grint And Having Him In His Music Video, saying (English):<br/> "I went to school and was a ginger kid so you're obviously going to get the Ron Weasley comments at some point so I just thought I would take the piss out of myself and get him to play me."<br/> Adele had the biggest year of her career in 2011 with her album "21" topping charts around the world.<br/> She's nominated for three gongs including Best Album, British female and single for "Someone Like You", of which the music video was filmed at last year's BRITs.<br/> Jessie J will go head-to-head with Adele for Best British female and single for "Price Tag".<br/> Jessie's also nominated for best breakthrough act.<br/> British music topped global music charts last year and the singer said it was down to a few quirky characteristics.<br/> SOUNDBITE: Jessie J, On Why British Music Is So Popular Around The World, saying (English):<br/> "Because it's raw and honest and I don't think we've got any barriers up.
