Dr. Mark Coughenour, MD is a practicing Medical Oncologist at The Everett Clinic.<br /><br />I'm Mark Coughenour, one of the medical oncologists, so I use medications to treat cancers. I grew up in Kansas and went to the University of Kansas for my medical school residency and fellowship.<br /><br />The fellowship allows us to specialize. Most of us in oncology are already internal medicine specialists, but we go beyond internal medicine to do just cancer.<br />I chose The Everett Clinic because of its overall community service. It allows people to treat the whole patient through specialists in almost everything we need.<br /><br />The main thing I do in my practice that makes me most proud is that I try to take care of patients.
