A new Israeli start-up company is about to change the world of sports broadcast as we know it. After 3D technology took over cinemas all over the world with movies such as "Avatar" and "Alice in wonderland", now it's time for sports fans to enjoy the amazing world of 3D Viz.Ar.Tויז.אר.טי , one of the leading companies in 3D graphics and digital media, is said to invest 1.86 million dollars in Stergan (סטרג'ן), an Israeli start-up company, who's been developing a technology that will enable live sport broadcasting in 3D. The two companies have announced that Stergen will be ready to launch the new technology by 2011. Viz.ar.t works today with some the biggest media channels such as CNN, BBC and FOX. The company has announced the Stergan's products will be distributed as part of their graphic technology pack, purchased by many television networks, sports leagues and internet broadcasting companies.
