Rockets from Gaza fall on Southern Israel

2012-01-25 15 Dailymotion

Seven mortar shells fired from the Gaza Strip exploded in open territory in the Hof Ashkelon Regional Council Wednesday evening. No injuries or damage was reported. Preliminary tests on the shells revealed that some of them contained phosphorus, even though the use of the phosphorus in weaponry is forbidden under international law. Earlier in the day, a rocket was fired at Beer Sheva and at settlements near the Gaza Strip. The region still remains in a state of alert, and residents were asked to stay indoors or close to the covered spaces. In response to these attacks, the IDF attacked terrorist positions in Gaza.
