ROUGH CUT- NO REPORTER NARRATION<br/> STORY: Former NHL player Richard Zednik and a Slovak youth ice hockey team had a close escape when the roof of the newly-opened rink they were training on collapsed under heavy snow on Sunday afternoon (January 22).<br/> Young players were on the ice with Zednik at the Altis Hotel in Namestovo when parts of the ceiling started to fall.<br/> Everyone fled from the rink as huge cracks appeared in the roof before it crashed down.<br/> Nobody was injured.<br/> It was the Slovakia-born Zednik's second brush with death after his neck was slashed by another player's skate in February 2008.
