Dozens hurt in Peru quake

PLEASE NOTE: EDIT CONTAINS CONVERTED 4:3 MATERIAL<br/> The 6.3 magnitude earthquake that hit the coast of Peru was centred about 274 kilometres south-southeast of the capital, Lima, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.<br/> Witnesses said buildings in coastal Lima were shaken by the quake.<br/> It happened shortly after midnight local time (0500GMT) on Monday (30th January).<br/> There have been no reports of deaths or major damage but at least 119 people have been injured.<br/> Most of the injuries happened as people tried to evacuate buildings.<br/> In 2007 the same area suffered an 8.0 magnitude quake that killed more than 500 people and wrecked thousands of homes.
