Cheers and applause for for Myanmar opposition leader Aung Sang Suu Kyi as she hits the campaign trail.<br/> <br />Visiting an aid project in Myaing township in northern Myanmar, Suu Kyi tells supporters working together is key to the country's success.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (Burmese) MYANMAR OPPOSITION LEADER, AUNG SAN SUU KYI SAYING:<br/> <br />"We understand that you're struggling with poverty every day. In order to be free of such poverty, you yourself must have the desire to work and struggle against it and the outside world must also want to help us. If we work and try hard, the outside world would also be more generous and willing to help us."<br/> <br />This is Suu Kyi's fifth trip outside Yangon since being released from years of house arrest in November 2010, and hundreds turned out to greet her.<br/> <br />This supporter says she wishes Suu Kyi good health and prosperity so she can work for the country.<br/> <br />The opposition leader's campaign follows dramatic reform in Myanmar over the past few months, including the release of hundreds of political prisoners freed and the relaxing of media controls.<br/> <br />Suu Kyi and her allies are contesting 48 seats in various legislatures, including the 440-seat lower house, in by-elections scheduled to take place in April.<br/> <br />Sunita Rappai, Reuters
