PLEASE NOTE: EDIT CONTAINS CONVERTED 4:3 MATERIAL<br/> <br />ROUGH CUT - NO REPORTER NARRATION<br/> <br />Another explosion has hit a gas pipeline between between Egypt and Israel west of the Egyptian coastal town of al-Arish.<br/> <br />The pipeline, which also supplies gas to Jordan, has been attacked at least 12 times since Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak was toppled last year.<br/> <br />Security in Sinai slackened after Mubarark's fall as the police presence thinned out across Egypt.<br/> <br />The country's 20-year gas deal with Israel, signed during the Mubarak era, is unpopular with some Egyptians and critics have accused Israel of paying to little for the gas.<br/> <br />Egypt said in November it would tighten security along the pipeline by installing alarms and recruiting Bedouin tribesmen to patrol it.<br/> <br />Sinai has long been a troubled area, where Bedouins complain of government neglect and an absence of any benefit from the several Red Sea resorts with five-star hotels it hosts.
