La beauté sera convulsive ou ne sera pas’<br />« Beauty will be convulsive or not at all ». Nadja/André Breton<br />Exquisite corpse, also known as exquisite cadaver (from the original French<br />term cadavre exquis) or rotating corpse, is a method by which a collection<br />of words or images is collectively assembled.<br />It is this methodology which has been the starting point for a multi- screen<br />film installation, conceived by Jerry Stafford and directed by renown<br />photographer and director Sølve Sundsbø.<br />The film, commissioned by W magazine and Proctor and Gamble and produced by<br />Psycho explores the idea of BEAUTY as a constantly shifting ,<br />constantly changing force. An idea of transformation and metamorphosis<br />within a single body.<br />The installation premiered at The Armory in New York on February 14th with music<br />composed by James Lavelle.
