ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />STORY: Greek police and students scuffled at an anti-austerity protest in central Athens on Friday (February 17).<br/> <br />Violence broke out after students threw stones at riot police guarding parliament, who then responded by charging and forcing them to retreat to nearby Syntagma square.<br/> <br />At least three student were arrested, police said later.<br/> <br />Students had gathered to demonstrate against government reforms and spending cuts in education which caused shortages in schools, as well as wage and job cuts affecting their families.<br/> <br />The latest austerity bill, sets out 3.3 billion euros (4.35 billion U.S. dollars) in wage, pension and job cuts as the price of a multi-billion-euro rescue package from the European Union and International Monetary Fund - Greece's second since 2010.
