ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />EDITORS PLEASE NOTE: EDIT CONTAINS CONVERTED 4:3 MATERIAL<br/> <br />Two separate skirmishes broke out in Colombia as military forces battled against the FARC on Wednesday (February 22).<br/> <br />In Tulua, some 350 kilometres (217 miles) west of the capital Bogota, local television images showed children scattering as police battled FARC rebels in the streets.<br/> <br />Journalists were gathered to cover a car bomb threat when FARC forces attacked the town.<br/> <br />The bomb was reportedly left in the road to attack military vehicles that patrol the area, according to authorities.<br/> <br />Meanwhile, the Air Force combined with police forces for an operation against the FARC's 57th Front in the Vigia del Fuerte region.<br/> <br />Video provided by the Air Force showed helicopters circling the jungle, firing on rebels with machine guns and dropping bombs.<br/> <br />They reportedly killed six rebel fighters and seized guns from a jungle camp.
