ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />At least three suicide bombers attacked a police station in Pakistan's northwestern city of Peshawar on Friday (February 24), killing three policemen and wounding six others, police officials said.<br/> <br />According to police officials who had cordoned off the area, the gunmen - armed with assault rifles and bombs - stormed the police station in one of the city's densely-populated areas in the early hours of the morning.<br/> <br />Local residents said they heard blasts soon after the firing started, and there were reports that the attackers had blown themselves up.<br/> <br />The police station is one of the largest in the city, and serves as a barrack for hundreds of new recruits.
