Joanna uses a fiber technique called knit-weaving for the base of many of her pieces, and then needle-felts and embellishes them with accents of beads, semi-precious gemstones and exotic fibers. Her tapestries get concentrated down to wearable bits of colorful fiber, using the inspiration of my silk paintings.
