PRESENTED BY BARBARA RAPPAPORT <br /> <br />The Lennings are a five piece folk band based in Austin, TX . They are currently working on their third album, a happy medium between their debut "Big Beige Car" and its follow up "Geographic Tongue".The members' last names were not always Lenning, but an oath was taken and changes were made. They wear it for the sick and lonely old. For the reckless ones whose bad trip left them cold. Jason is thesinger/songwriter, while Ross, Zach, Cory, and Steve bring the songs to life in the think tank on bass, banjo, guitar, and drums respectively. The music is mid-tempo folk-pop with infectious melodies and inviting vocals. Rhythmic strings drizzled with eerie effects.
